Tinca

Tinca is regarded as a village, but has a large population spread over the surrounding locality. It has two large gypsy communities that do not relate well to each other, one on each side of the main centre. Taking the population as a whole, the area is deprived and has poor social support.

One community has a population of over 2,500 who live in small mud brick houses located off consolidated mud roads. Transport consists of the numerous horse and carts that are constantly going about their daily business. For them poverty is a normal way of life.
