An operation on a girl to the eyes to provide eyelids and saliva glands, also grommets to improve her hearing capability carried out at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Water wells installed in the centre of two gypsy community villages. New artificial legs fitted for a man who's existing artificial legs were falling apart. Repairs to gypsy community village houses to make them wind and waterproof. Damp proofing and tiling improvements to the semi-basement food storage area for a state orphanage. New ceramic flooring, painting walls, new windows, playroom and equipment to the childrens ward at Salonta hospital. A nurse was employed to help with abandoned babies. Sponsorship for the salary of two auxiliary nurses working in the state orphanages. Medication and treatment for a girl with heart problems and a slight limb deformity. A minor operation to a boy to raise his eyelid into a more open position.
