Hospice Emanuel                                                (www.emanuelhospice.org) This facility is based in Oradea to provide palliative care to terminally ill children and adults in their own homes and to provide support to families during this time and following bereavement. Hope for the Family have supported them by providing two syringe drivers and a good second hand car to replace the one that regularly broke down. It also provides the salary for a paediatric nurse.

In 2005, 2007 and 2008, about thirty children were sponsored to go on a summer camp in the mountains, where they had a great time with siblings and some family members in the sun and fresh mountain air, playing games, doing craft work, singing round a camp fire and just resting. For some of them it may be the last holiday that they ever have.
